Ok so I have a Capital One card and it has gone up since I cannot pay is cuss I am not working, When I has the money to negotiate a payment plan with them they could not or did not wanted to work with me and try to get me a lower rate so I forgot them. Now I called again trying to work something and the lady goes ';if you can pay $272 a month we can lower the interest'; WTF what happened when I wanted to work with u so I told her I can't cuss I am not working. She goes '; so u call to tell us that we can't do anything then'; WTH is wrong with them. I did bankruptcy but that is long time ago and I had a Capital one account at the time that I put on the bankruptcy. What can I do? I don't want to go up to $5000 now.I need advice with a credit card problem?
There is really nothing you can do, if you are not able to borrow the money from a friend or family member, then the card will continue to get further delinquent.
Once the card reached 150-180 days the credit card will charge the debt off and sell it to a collection agency. They will report it on your credit. The collection agency will also report it, and you will have to deal with them.I need advice with a credit card problem?
Unfortunately, by waiting so long to resolve things there's nothing you can do. If you could have paid even $10 a month, you should because that will keep relations between you and the cc company better. Start paying whatever you can and hope that your situation improves quickly.
I think in life boundries aren't as solid as people make us think they are. So I think some rules can be broken, but because people don't try they aren't. For example, I have been told ';I am sorry, we can't do that'; many times in my life. I pull the ';let me speak to your supervisor'; card and 99% of the time I either get my way or a happy resolution. The higher you go up, the louder you bark, someone will hear you. The higher ups don't have the time or patience to deal with you, so they will often authorize a bend in the rules just to get rid of you. Be persistant, persistance pays. Also take advantage of the current economic crisis, you are one of so many in the same boat. At least you are trying to communicate with them and work something out. Many people are just ignoring their bills. But also take responsibility for your own actions. Credit cards are nasty things, you can end up spending money you don't have and it gets you in this mess. I personally have no debt and never have had any, I have one credit card, and I never charge anything to it I wouldn't buy with my own money. Like groceries or gas. I know this can be hard for many to do though... I guess. I have made a lot of sacrifices in life and haven't been able to get things I wanted and in some cases I needed. Even been homeless, but I have no debt because of it.
