Any advice for the most embarrasing problem resulting from a Nair nightmare & combined with rough sex?

I am reposting this hoping to receive more answers...I am mostly concerned with the pimple like bumps that are all over my vaginal and pubic area (about ten or so)!

Ok, here's the deal- Last week, I was using Nair in my bikini area and moved my leg while it was on which resulted in the Nair spreading and and taking hair off that I hadn't intended. In a moment of pure stupidity, I decided that I would Nair my entire area to remove the hair. EVERYWHERE down there (entire vagina and all pubic hair. If that wasn't bad enough, I think it caused some sort of reaction because it was on the sensitive areas on my inner lips, etc and irritated my skin very badly! Fast forward 2 days....

My boyfriend and I had very rough sex and I think that it may have caused those already sensitive areas to be more irritated (we also used some lube that didn't help). This was Thursday night. I was very sore the next day and since have gotten worse. I have developed several (what I think are) ingrown hairs in my pubic area which are now red %26amp; swollen. I have hemhroids (sp) inside my butthole, which I am treating with Prep H. I think we may have scraped or scratched the skin near my clitoris, which is now also red and painful. Now I also have bumps in the area right above my vaginal hole that sort of feel like swollen glands.

Saturday I got my period, which is very heavy and not making the situation better.

I just had my yearly exam and was tested and examined for STD's (all negative) and am in a monogomous relationship. I am almost positive that its not anything sexually transmitted. I am so embarrassed by this and know that I was dumb, so please don't respond by telling me this when I already know. I seriously do not want to go to the doctor and I don't know what to do.

I am in a horrible situation. It hurts to walk and my underwear/clothing seems to irritate the pubic area worse. If you can stop laughing at me long enough to help and give me sound medical advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

PS. I learned my lesson and will never use Nair %26amp; I am contemplating never having sex again. In my defense, my boyfriend is 9 years younger than I am and I was blinded by how good the sex is:) I have to have a little sense of humor about this, because I think if I stop laughing at myself I might start crying!

Thank you!!!! I don't think there is a yeast infection going on, I do not have any of the symptoms, and the bleeding is from my period. In regards to the ingrown hairs, do I shave or just let everything grow? I have not shaved or had sex or done anything that could further irritate things. My boyfriend is very supportive and knows the situation...he tweezed two of the ingrown hairs for me and I had him look at everything because, honestly, he has a better view than I do(even with a mirror) and I wanted to make sure I was specific when asking this question. Also, is it possible for Nair to ';burn'; your skin? That is sort of what I feel happened and then we made it so much worse with the sex. Again, thank you all so much for your sensitivity and kind responses. I am SO appreciative!!Any advice for the most embarrasing problem resulting from a Nair nightmare %26amp; combined with rough sex?
Yes Nair can burn your skin VERY easily if you aren't careful and I'm sure there is nothing else going on except for the fact that you used it in an area that you aren't supposed to. I know they warn you on the product not to use it near those certain areas but I don't think they tell you what ALL of the side effects are possible that could occur. I'm not sure what you can do to treat it, if you are using prep h you can keep doing that I don't know if you might try using a baby brand for diaper rash that might help too but you just have to try it. If all you have is tight underwear try to find some boy-shorts or something that will help you breathe more and don't wear tight jeans wear skirts or baggy pants or something so that nothing is contacting you directly. Also, make sure the underwear is soft and not scratchy like cotton or anything like that. I'd still say though, even if you are too embarrassed to go to the doctor, you probably need to anyways because if it still hasn't gone away after such a long time then it probably did bring on a worse infection and if it's not treated right or in time that can lead to even more serious problems. I would hate to see you try and cope with this on your own and end up getting worse than better. Try finding a medical website and type in your symptoms and see if it might pull up anything that could be of more help. I'm terribly sorry you are having to go through this, I too have had my share of embarrassing and painful predicaments but believe me, I can assure you that this is not something to be prideful about and keep information from somebody who is trained to help you and has your best interest. I hope this helped you a little and hopefully it won't last for much longer. Good luck.Any advice for the most embarrasing problem resulting from a Nair nightmare %26amp; combined with rough sex?
I just wanted to add my two cents here, having just been to the doctor for this very thing. She prescribed me Lidocaine to both numb the pain and create a protective barrier to help it heal. I used the Nair that was specifically for the bikini area; felt some of it sting and that was all she wrote

definittlly odnt have sex until everything heals. I think that the product was just too much for such a sensitice area so the hair pores are probably just swollen. Just done shave or wax or anyyyything down there until everything goes back to normal. Putting lotion on anything will probably sting and maybe even cause redness or swelling. Just be careful and let it heal!!!
You'll be fine! I on the other hand won't laugh because I KNOW just how painful it is. Try soaking in the tub where loose clothes and try not to have sex. It'll stop hurting in a couple of days. If the hairs are ingrown you can ';pop'; the bumps thuts helping the hair out and this will help the healing process to go a little quicker. Palmers cocoa butter works good to soothe the skin and works great to apply directly after shaving that area.
