normally, your gums are hard, flat, and firm. well, right where my wisdom teeth seem to be coming it, it isn't quite that. the best way that i can explain how it feels is like one of the bubbles from a bubble wrap, that is filled with liquid. it is real squishy, and hurts a little bit.
has anyone ever had anything like this? does it sound like its infected?
thanks for your help in advance :)I'm having a problem with my wisdom tooth...and i need advice?
It sounds like you have an abscess. Do yourself a favor and call a dentist and get a professional opinion and they will help you get it taken care of and answer your questions. First is your wisdom tooth or teeth coming in and is it an abscess. Please be careful because an abscess can be serious, and can become very painful. Good Luck!I'm having a problem with my wisdom tooth...and i need advice?
if you are getting a cold, your gums can swell and it hurts like a mother f'er. go to the dentist and have them yanked. it sux for 3 days after but you will never miss your wisdom teech and wont have the problem again.
it wont be long b4 it comes through`they last along while`?????
sounds like it is sore, you're simply teething much like babies do. Suck on some ice or take tylenol to soothe it.
Remember theres something trying to get out through your gums, by ripping a hole in them, its not going to be the nicest thing in the world. However unless its pushing other teeth out of place, giving you head/ear aches (those can be brutal i had them when mine came in) or in some other way negatively affecting you, its not something you have to get treated by a dentist.
It depends how bubbly it is lol. Go to your dentist. It could be nothing but something could be preventing it from coming in or it could be coming in at an angle and you would have to have it removed.
First of all if you are between 17-24 years old your wisdom tooth may be coming out. Some people do not have enough space in the mandible ( bottom portion of your mouth) arch, therefore it will impact next to the 2nd molar which is the tooth right before it. If this is happening food and bacteria collects in this area and stays underneath your gums causing inflammation (swelling) therefore infection. You should get it checked with a dentist. If you have enough space and you are not a tiny person or have a small mouth then I don't think it is a great idea of having the tooth removed, unless it is necessary. Make sure you brush gently and rinse well in that area start brushing more often than you do. If you brush 3 times a day try and brush another 2 extra times or as soon as you finish eating. Don't ever go to bed without brushing your teeth, Bacteria will sit all night on your teeth Sugars especially will turn into acids and cause cavities/caries, and gingivitis and other problems. If you can floss that area try and floss very gently not hurting the gums. If it continues to be that way and it starts hurting more go to the dentist, but brushing/flossing cleaning the area from current bacteria and plaque will definetely help. Hope this helps and Hope you feel better soon!
