I have now given up on the job search and want to go back to school. But I have no idea what I want to do. I want to do something where I can sit in an office, doesn't require a lot of math in the curriculum/or actual job, has entry level positions, and doesn't require a lot of social interaction. And of course I want it to pay well. I was thinking about something in the medical field...but all the positions I was thinking about doing they want you to have at least 3 years experience before you get hired. How are you going to get the experience if no one will hire you? So that's out.
Then I thought about IT.....but you have to do a lot of math. And it's not the type of math that you'll never use. It's the type of math that you'll use on a daily basis. Plus, there's a lot of social interaction with that. So that's out.
Oh I also thought about writing novels. But I'll never get good enough to get published.....so that's out the window. Also, I can't wait to start making money. I need something that I know I can be successful at. With novel writing it's a toss of a coin.
Here are a list of things I'm looking for in a job. Please suggest whatever jobs you can and I will look into them further. If you are not suggesting a career field for me to go into save your breath because I won't read pass the first sentence.

Working with computers - software, data entry, and coding.
Office environment
Little social interaction
Something that requires detail and patience
No/little math
Everyday routine (same problems and situations everyday)
I wouldn't mind a job that required you to be on the phone
That's all that I can think of. Thanks for your answers. :)I am faced with a huge problem. Can someone provide advice?
Since you like data entry and want to be in an office....you can try being a medical billing specialist. You would just sit at a desk and type patients' info into the computer. You will also do insurance verifications and billing. It;s not very hard and it only takes months to complete the course. I'm not sure what the pay is...it might be pretty low for entry level. You can also work in a call center...these jobs usually pay very well. You sit in a cubicle and take calls. Actually, I think this would be best for you because you don't need any additional education (just high school diploma) and you will have little social interaction. You will also use a computer and do data entry.I am faced with a huge problem. Can someone provide advice?
